A former professional footballer born in 1992 in Whangārei, NZ, Melbourne based kiwi artist Hannah Wilkinson started life with a paintbrush before a football. Art has always been a focus even throughout her professional athletic career. Now retired from sport, murals by Wilkinson have featured in both New Zealand and Australia, ranging from business offices to New Zealand’s national stadium – Eden Park.

Canvas works by Wilkinson have also been widely requested, most notably a large finely detailed acrylic work capturing NZ Olympians and their journey to Paris 2024. Wilkinson has also had work featured in exhibitions including “Create Against The Machine”, Fringe Festival, Melbourne, 2025 (Finalist Award) and “In the beginning, there was Football, Romi Studio, Brooklyn, New York, USA, 2023.

Her range of mediums demonstrate Wilkinson’s artistic versatility. She aims to showcase her work in the renowned cultural art scene of Melbourne.
